Give the concert its own evening
GIMS plays on 16–17 December in the La Défense / Nanterre area. A central dinner, a long Christmas walk and the concert need more than a narrow gap. Start with the night on your ticket and plan the return after the show too. Ask whether everyone wants to leave together.
Build a small Christmas outing
Do not try to collect every market. Pick one area from the Christmas guide, then decide where to start, eat and finish. With children, budget for a warm break. Looking at street lights and paying for food, shopping or rides are different expenses. Do not assume ordinary opening hours on 24, 25 or 31 December.
If it rains, do not buy the day twice
Instead of buying several backup tickets, keep one outdoor and one indoor option in your rainy-day plan. Free and family choices can help with the budget, but free admission does not cover every exhibition. An early flight home is a good reason to keep the final evening simple.
