Paris on the ticket is not enough
Charles de Gaulle, Orly and Beauvais are different airports. Verify the airport code in the fare details and do not apply one airport’s transport assumptions to another. Landing, leaving the terminal and being ready at the hotel are separate moments. Put your hotel location and arrival airport into one plan. Do not treat a fixed journey estimate as a guarantee.
Compare equivalent conditions
Compare baggage, seats, changes and cancellation alongside the headline fare. Search with the same passengers and needs. For connections, check whether tickets are one reservation, how bags transfer and what the airline’s conditions are. Final terms belong to the seller. This publication does not display live fares or availability.
Carry arrival details into your transport plan
Flight number, airport, date, passengers and bags support a useful transport enquiry. Mention pushchairs or bulky equipment rather than assuming capacity. Ask how delays are handled and confirm very late hotel check-in directly. On a business visit, leave flexibility instead of placing an immovable meeting immediately after landing.

Consider the airport alongside your hotel address and check-in time.
Treat departure as its own day
Write down event finish, luggage collection and required airport arrival separately. Follow the airline’s current check-in and bag-drop requirements. After a late event, consider rest before an early flight. A flight change does not automatically amend the hotel or transfer: reconfirm each arrangement under its own conditions.
Compare flights using the cost of the whole trip
| Comparison | Consider together |
|---|---|
| Lower-cost choice | Baggage, hotel night and ground travel |
| An event on arrival day | Arrival uncertainty and first fixed time |
| An event the following day | Rest, check-in and morning preparation |
A small arrival-day plan is enough
If you prefer not to fix the first day with another ticket, try flexible free options. Keep the rain plan handy. The venue-based hotel comparison helps separate airport proximity from proximity to the fair.
After choosing the airport, read the matching detail: CDG to Paris, Orly to Paris and Beauvais to Paris are different starting points.
