Choose the evening that suits you
Tuileries can combine an outdoor outing with a central visit. La Défense is another option if you are staying nearby or coming for a concert. For the Notre-Dame area, check the market dates carefully. Treat these as different evenings to choose between, rather than stops to complete in one night. Your hotel area helps decide.
Published 2026 dates
Tourism-office dates: La Défense 12 Nov–3 Jan 2027; Tuileries 14 Nov–3 Jan; Champs-Élysées 22 Nov–4 Jan; Notre-Dame 26 Nov–27 Dec. These are not daily hours or a free-entry promise. Recheck your chosen market in the source below before going.

Separate confirmed lights from plans still to come
The published Champs-Élysées lighting period begins 22 November 2026 and runs into early January 2027. Haussmann and Vendôme details were still awaiting announcement when checked; last year’s hours are not this year’s promise. With children, choose a short stretch and leave room for warmth. Read about family pacing and a rain alternative.
